Jerad Hill Studios - Owner. In 2005 I began freelance designing websites for companies full time. I have been building websites since 1997. I consider myself a strong designer with my focus set on brand recognition. Be it a brand or marketing an individual, my drive is to get my clients noticed. A website, when done properly, can be the #1 marketing tool a company has. To see a list of companies I have designed for, visit my portfolio.

Hookupz - Owner. In 2001 I opened a retail store in Modesto called Hookupz. Hookupz began as a skateboard and clothing store but quickly grew and expanded into the Scooter and Motocross market. Hookupz flourished online spawning 2 online stores (HookupzRacing.Com and HpMiniMods.Com), which are no longer online. The direct sales store was located across from McHenry Village on Granger Ave. I started Hookupz as an online store where I sold skateboards and accessories. Later in 2001 with $5,000 I had saved I opened a store in Modesto. I was fortunate to find the right trends and bring them into the store at the right time. Sales grew fast and in 2004 gross combined sales were $210,000. Over the four years the face of Hookupz changed many times due to the current product fads. In early 2005 I decided to shut down the business and sold my inventory to a local off road sports shop in Salida.
Dr. John Duong, M.D. - Office Manager. In 1999 I began working part time for Dr. Duong as a medical biller and quickly began taking on other tasks such as hiring, cash accountability and scheduling. I left American Eagle Outfitters to pursue a growing desire for the medical field I began working full time for the medical practice. I continued working for Dr. Duong in the mornings during the first six months I opened Hookupz. When sales picked up at Hookupz I quit working at Dr. Duong's office. You can reach Dr. Duong by calling (209) 613-7490.
American Eagle Outfitters - Assistant Store Manager. Employed from May 1999 - Fall 2000. My responsibilities included scheduling, hiring, group and individual interviewing, cash accountability, merchandising and loss prevention.
Mr. Rags - Store Manager. Employed from Spring 1997 - May 1999. I was hired as a Third Key manager in training due to the fact that I was not yet 18 years old. I was responsible for opening and closing the store, cash accountability, loss prevention, scheduling and merchandising. Once I turned 18, I was promoted to Assistant Store Manager and 3 weeks later to Store Manager. In addition to managing the Modesto store I was often sent to other stores in the Bay Area and Sacramento to cover for other managers or to help in team restructuring after a store was restructured due to high levels of loss. I took loss prevention seriously, I treated each store as it was my own. Later when I owned my own store I was thankful for the skills I attained working for Mr. Rags and American Eagle Outfitters.
